DOHA, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) -- Spain coach Luis Enrique is without doubt one of the leaders with the most personality in the World Cup finals, he made that clear in his press conference about if he was happy after his side's 7-0 win over Costa Rica in their opening game.
"I'm an idiot. I'm happier when I am managing problems," replied Luis Enrique.
One of the coach's projects in Qatar is his regular sessions on the online streaming platform 'Twitch' in which he answers questions from supporters with his usual honesty.
On the eve of Spain's Group E clash with Germany, he gave details of some aspects of life in the Spanish training camp and the eating habits of the players.
"We have a really good buffet," he explained. "There are a lot of vegetables and salads and we also have a lot of protein, fruit and yoghurts."
"There is pasta for the players, because it is accepted that the players have to eat pasta," commented the coach, who explained that some players "also intermittently carry out short fasts and nearly everyone has their own nutritionist."
He admitted that at times he can find the diet difficult to follow.
"I really like sweet things, but sugar is the worst thing that there is for you and I try and avoid it as much as possible. I do like a rice pudding or tiramisu, but I try and make it the exception than the rule," commented the Spain coach.
He also discussed how he prepares his players for a game saying "we try and give them detailed information," he said, admitting that things have changed since he was a player.
"Back then we had to sit through a 40-minute video and that was really boring," admitted Luis Enrique.
