General Assembly to Debate Necessity of Ending United States Economic, Commercial and Financial Embargo against Cuba

The General Assembly holds its annual debate on the necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States against Cuba, hearing from nearly 50 speakers over the course of two days. 

It will take up the Secretary-General’s report on the matter (document A/80/83) and on Wednesday take action on a draft resolution (A/80/L.6).
