5.1-magnitude quake hits off coast of Costa Rica -- GFZ

BEIJING, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted off the coast of Costa Rica at 1841 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 8.76 degrees north latitude and 84.19 degrees west longitude.
