Urgent: 5.7-magnitude earthquake jolts Costa Rica -- USGS

BEIJING, April 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted 72 km southwest of Tamarindo, Costa Rica, at 0656 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 20.0 km, was initially determined to be at 9.92 degrees north latitude and 86.38 degrees west longitude.
