Security Council Takes Up Haiti Sanctions

The Security Council meets today at 10 a.m. to vote on a draft resolution that would renew the sanctions regime on Haiti for one year, until 17 October 2026.  The draft text was authored by Panama and the United States, the co-penholders on the Haiti file.
